That's fine and dandy but there's no indication that conservatives are in charge in Syracuse anymore.


The country, not the city. The county outside of the city is the affluent part of Syracuse. In 48 years, they have had three county executives........all Republican:

Onondaga County was governed exclusively by a board of supervisors until 1961, when voters approved the creation of the county executive.[3] In 1968, the board reorganized into a 24-seat county legislature.[4] In 2001, the legislature was reduced to 19 seats.
