I heard a telling statistic on NPR the other day. In 1960, the top 1% of American earners got 8% of the wealth in America. Today, the top 1% gets 20%.


Yes, all the statistics show that more and more of the wealth in this country is controlled by fewer and fewer people. What's mindblowing is that president of the US....probably the hardest job in the world.....makes with perks around $1 million per year. A pittance compared to these CEOs.

Thank Reagan and Bush. Why the REST of the (R)'s below the 1% think this is good is what's puzzling.

That's what I don't get at all. They are getting screwed along with the rest of us, and yet, they enable the screwers.
