My take on Palin's resignation: there are better things to do in life than spend 24/7 defending yourself and your kids from media attacks.

I hope she finds peace out of the spotlight. However, I suspect we will see her placing herself back in the limelight in the months ahead. Her children certainly need attention, as all children do, and stepping down from the official office gives her more time for family. Always a good thing.

I am sure this is part of it....that attacks on Trig and her daughters were disgusting....but typical of the left.
