I talked to Monique Wise at Bloomberg and gave her two thoughts about ETRADE. (1) On heavy trading days or "unusual" days like the past two, ETRADE folds. (2) When they fold there is absolutely no useful, informative message on their Home Page, but one is told that either one has "no privileges" to use their system, or it is down for "routine maintainance". So, my quarrel with E*TRADE is chiefly that they are dishonest. I imagine I'll get quoted at their website this evening. Cheers FIDO, aka Francis Muir
