That's right and according to Pomp if you run a winning campaign that is all that matters. Excellent point. I thought you weren't interested in Palin? Of course, what I actually said was that in hindsight, running an effective campaign is HOW people get elected, capable or not, ready for the job or not. It has always been true. Effective campaigns hide defects. But I doubt that Sarah could run an effective campaign. We'll see. She still sees herself as the future of conservatism, IMHO.
