self defense: the act of defending oneself, one's property, or a close relative

A nuke that is smuggled into the country is very destructive and very difficult to trace and place blame. So much that I think that a pre emptive strike on a terrorist country producing nukes is self defense.

Ever hear of the term, "The best defense, is a good offense!"?
