Aagh! I have an exterminator come once a month and have no problem.

I do not know, but brown recluses are everywhere; if they live in Missouri, they can live here. Carpenter ants too, but I am not afraid of them.

For this reason I will never buy a house which has been vacant for a long time. They can be controlled but never eradicated.

I think I must have had a spider get into my bedding about a week ago. Something has bitten both my legs a dozen times and I have little welts now that itch like crazy. I've stripped the bed, washed everything and vacuumed the mattress. But I'm still fighting these old bites. Hope I got rid of the thing. I'm seeing lots more spiders this summer than in the past.
