I don't disagree. I am not a big fan of Obama (contrary to the opinion of some here). I thought Bush was a disaster (as understood by most here). I was no fan of Clinton either (as many here know).

I actually liked George Herbert Walker Bush and thought he got a raw deal. ( Sometimes you have to raise taxes to be a true fiscal conservative. Reagan did the same - nobody seems willing to cut spending, after all).

But electing Palin to follow Obama, who only got elected because of how bad Bush looked (Hillary would have been elected as well, in that environment) would be foolish beyond belief. Can even the most loyal Palinmaniacs watch that press conference and not wonder a bit. I mean, it was disjointed and unfocused, wasn't it?

There needs to be a new generation of libertarian leaning republicans. That will be the road to electoral success, if it is going to happen.
