I can't follow your logic here. If you have a public option, people are going to want what people always want - everything. At least with insurance companies they have a desire to limit cost - and yet still the cost grows out of control. Now with a public sector, what will be the incentive to limit care? Of course you have hinted that you think care should not be limited - even for those at deaths door. Sooooooo, I see medical care only gets more costly as medicine advances. I'd bet big bucks that happens. ...........Give people incentives to stay well and fit and trim. Provide some means to control cost that is meaningfull and then I will support the Obama plan. Until then - no way.
