Well, as you know, all the "normal" media are liberal- so for the right wing view one can only look to Hate Radio and Faux News and crazy bloggers. Those "outlets"- screwy and marginalized as they are- really represented the "other side"- and were printing the stuff about Obama being a Muslim, and the odd stuff about his birth certificate. I know, I know- that stuff IS nutty, but it seemed to represent "mainstream" thinking in certain quarters of the rep party (sadly) and certainly represented mainstream thinking on some threads here on SI, and hmmm, isn't this your post? Message 25039406 Yeah I agree with you- such writings are bizarre and irresponsible and do not represent mainstream thinking, but they did represent a good fraction of the right's thinking (probably why you guys lost...) So yeah, I think we get to compare. And most certainly lost of politicians have suffered more than Palin. Palin just whines a lot, and she's recent, and you want to believe her- that's why it seems no one has ever suffered like she's suffered. So ROFL right back atcha. And what about that birth certificate?
