I have had women friends to comment on how touched they were by the moment when the little Palin girl held the baby--- wetting her fingers to smooth the babies hair at the GOP Convention.

It was a tender, caring moment caught by the cameras and shown worldwide.

I invite each of you to think of your own family backgrounds current and past.

No doubt you will find as I have that not everyone was super intelligent and perfect.

I had one cousin on my father's side who limped when he walked because of having been born with a deformity in one leg. Yes, he became a construction worker.

My mother who had 11 brothers and sisters had one brother who appeared somewhat mentally retarded and may have been a downs syndrome baby-------as an adult he held a menial job all of his life------he could laugh, tell a joke and was always a gentleman. And yes in the fashion of the Huffington Post dude who criticized Sarah Palin and her newborn-----he was often teased when he was in school by cruel people.

Hitler tried the 'perfect society'-----we don't need that in America.
