I'm out of the loop on this, but my wife had a thingee that we thought was a spider bite. The doctor said it was emphatigo (dang if I know how to spell it, but that's what it sounds like)and said it's commonly thought to be a spider bite by people who bring it in.

lol... That will help you sleep, but seriously make sure your nails are trimmed close so you don't scratch yourself too bad at night because of the itch.
