The reasons I fell compelled to make a choice between the two flations is that I think the risk of a deflationary spiral is real because of the global nature of this thing. Imagine most of the world's advanced economies going through Japan's experience. If I am wrong, and we reflate to some extent [the risk of hyperinflation is not that troubling to me], my opportunity costs should be minimal. If not, I am ready.
