Did Palin quit as Arkansas Governor when she accepted McCain's offer to run as VP less than two years into her term?

Obama resigned his Senate seat after being elected President. You have your time line wrong.

Obama was sworn in as senator January 2005 and ran for president February 2007. Sorry, he quit after 25 months. Whereas Sarah Palin was governor for 32 months.

He didn't quit.....and he made more roll call votes during that time than McCain:

At one point during the latter part of 2008, McCain missed 100% of the roll calls. At his worst, Obama missed 80%.

So what are you saying.....Congresspeople should quit before they run for president?
