Apple already has a pretty good netbook - iPod Touch and iPhone. I don't see any practical sense in a netbook for portability that would require an additional wireless modem. I'd carry a laptop for that kind of purpose.

Support cost myth..

I have a 16 month $820 Dell quadcore mid tower with dual link gpu and have yet to call Dell for support.

My neighbor has a mini 9 for primary use and has yet to contact Dell for support.

Well, my iMac is another story..

The Dell mini 9 is solid quality wise..

aapl had to drop prices on their laptops to stimulate sales and has worked.

Looks like the desktops are next for a revision with a price adjustment.
