In a depression, with shrinking dollars going round, the dx should not fall (if yesteryear´s mechanics still apply).

Today was odd.. the market did not react to various positive economic numbers

(German Industrial production way up, Canada Building permits & Consumer Confidence much better than expected; UK GDP estimate..., only early UK data tanked the pound a bit).

it is possible that the BOE cuts the rate a little on Thu, since there is really no need for higher rates and the pound still ahead average prices.
