I don't think she should have been responding to legislative subpoenas. There are checks and balances to be upheld. That is why Bush, Clinton and Reagan did the same. I don't think that was the source of her problems. The source seemed to be a never ended flood of ethics allegations with no basis in fact, but all of them had an impact. I have never seen a politician so intensely stalked and attacked. and so it is that the attacks and residual effects go on and on to this day. Just look at this clown Biden and ask why he isn't declared mentally ill by the press? I think an awful lot of hatred comes from her attractive appearance, her health and her common sense. That is my opinion and reasons are added like tinseled excuses to the real opposition. Many people should feel shame for all this, but they have none. That includes Republicans as well. They have the same reasons for their nasty attacks. We have a real threat in the Whitehouse now and yet so many still see if they can destroy Palin. She is a Red Herring, just a distraction now. Obama is the one who needs to be stopped.
