I still don't see that as the source of her problems. If that case weren't there the other tsunami of complaints would have washed in anyway.

It is Palin that they are attacking, not what happened during troopergate. Hell, everyone saw early how the Trooper was a monster. He even gave interviews that left no doubt.

He wasn't an issue. Palin became the issue and anything they could blame on her.

(Note: The legislature is roughly 50/50 Republican/Democrat, but large majorities have gone against her in the continual feuding since Troopergate erupted last summer.)

And what percentage is loyal to the old-boy Murkowski/Stevens network that Sarah ran against?
