It makes me sick how these leaders were so ready to have these people fight senseless wars. Yeah, I'm not sure when it's worse, for a volunteer army now or a conscripted army like Vietnam. Whether its volunteer or conscripted....these are real people......they shouldn't have to lose their lives on a leader's whim. And I read somewhere yesterday that there were people in the Johnson WH who thought he was losing it......going slowly insane. Isn't that just dandy? If a president is losing it, people have a responsibility to do something about it instead of gossiping about it in the hallways.
