There are billions of people who produce nothing but handcrafts or farm products...they have learned very little in hundreds of years to improve themselves or their products.... Consider the mid East, consider Africa, much of Asia,consider the US... That's why they are such easy targets for the god squads of the world.... If you the only man in the village who can read or pretend to cure, you're the most powerful man in the village. "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.." So in this context you will find yourself ranking quite high, even in the US... So most of the intelligent unlearned people have not made much effort to learn...
