At first the USD should rise against other currencies with gold, because, it is still a debate if the USD is so much worst than the Euro and others. But in the long run, I think the USD will go down because I think it is really in worst shape than other main fiat currencies.

Either way, I think gold will go up at times with the dollar but most of the time against the dollar.
