Never thought about it that much, and I don't think it's a sign of bravery. It reminds me of a guy in the bunkhouse who was deathly afraid of spiders, way back in 1963. He was standing in the head shaving at the mirror when somebody placed in front of him. He practically jumped through the ceiling trying to get away. I didn't think it was funny, but I was too stupid to challenge the stupid practical joker.
