As far as the water goes, we probably drink the purest water on earth and we have unlimited amounts of it. Our water comes from deep aquifers high in our mountains fed by glaciers. It is pure beyound belief. It is very very soft water, is always ice cold right out of the tap and tastes like the sweet spring water it is. Our water is the best thing we have-lol. Alaska is divided along very hard political lines. Extreme right wing and the dems are normal liberals. But they are more liberal than moderates. The only way the dems ever won the governors race is because the Republicans often ran people so far to the right we were able to win. We have never had the numbers. Alaska also has a pretty hard Independent party which Todd Palin belonged to which has as its main platfrom susceeding from the union. And we have had a cople of libertarinas in the legislature. Libertarians are just confused Republicans. They voted with the Republicans. In the local house and senate races we just out worked the Republicans when we won.
