I wouldn't recommend it, but only because I'm not doing it myself, and I haven't tested previous beta versions of Windows, so I can't say what the experience is like and will neither recommend it or recommend against it.

Maybe, at least if you have a computer that you can afford a bit of downtime on, you should try it out.

I highly recommend it. I have been using it on my production computer since the RC release and have nothing but praise for it and this is from someone who detested Vista. Microsoft got it right this time in my opinion. I would also do a clean install.
