Good points but they keep finding more shale NG at an exponential rate. There is zero reason to believe that this won't continue. I have no doubt that at the end of your 25 years we will have more proven NG resources than we do today. The NG is not going to run out not even in our grandchildren's lifetime.

Right now they have the four big deposits of Barnett, Fayetteville, Haynesville, and Marcellus. And the later two are just barely getting going.

They have just begun to begin. They only started on the Barnett in serious in 2,000. In 2007 the Marcellus was essentially unknown and now it's a superstar.

They discovered what looks like another monster recently somewhere in Texas
