This is precisely the type of government investment that will incubate the technology long enough and targeted enough to bridge this technology to economies of scale. "Incubating" is one thing. I'm all for government R&D funding going to advance the technology to COMMERCIAL VIABILITY. But subsidizing EVERY VEHICLE that is produced because they are more expensive that their Fossil Fueled competitors is not investing. You just don't seem to "get it", do you? And btw, do you see private industry sending Astronauts to the moon? Guess what.. It's STILL NOT COMMERCIALLY VIABLE 40 years AFTER the Government "incubated" the moon shots. Hawk
