ohhh, I didn't know that TBoone had given up on the wind power thing...guess he's cutting his losses. I'm hoping that Algore doesn't cut his losses and ends up riding his cap&trade investment all the way down into the toilet. I do think that global cooling will be a threat to humans in our lifetimes. But I also don't think we have any role in its cause and that there won't be much we can do to stop it...ceptin to buy more blankets.

You have to understand that inside the Dizzy City Beltway it's extremely difficult for people to find time to watch NOVA vs the CSPAN re-runs. Hence, the idea that ice core samples covering millions of years of warming and cooling cylces, or the fact that the Mississippi River regularly shifts from New Orleans to Brownsville, TX every 25K years (..despite the puny and futile efforts of the self-promoting, endless-job-courting Corp of Engineers..) are matters of established historical fact. Of course, a rather large meteor strike in the Gulf of Mexico can disrupt things just a skoshe. Ask any browsing Brontosaurus in your neighborhood..!!! Biomass conversion is proven and cheap. Wind power is a bloody FEDs & Buffett scam. And, ALGORE is a flaming rectal orifice and parrot for the Sierra Club. .
