Stem Cells and morality:
I think it is our duty to govern the balance between science and morality. Runaway science is not always a good thing.

Yucca Mountain and Nuclear Power:
Obama made the wrong move here. It's set the industry back. However, new nuclear power plants don't have nearly as much waste due to reprocessing, so this issue may be more of this author making a Mountain out of a Molehill.

Political favors for votes:
I don't like it either, but pointing out an example of the Dems doing it without showing an example of the GOP doing it is simply biased. The fact is that as repugnant as we all find it, both the GOP and the Dems do it and it has been going on a long time. So where was the outrage when the GOP did it during the Bush Administration? And how do we put an end to it for both parties?

On his bottom line:
Again he points the finger at the Democratic Party for the way they use science for political gain. This is simply bias. The fact is that both parties do it. So where was the outrage during the Bush Administration for them doing the same thing? And how do we end it?

He makes good points, but he loses credibility by couching his good points as attacks against the Dems.
