"Please debunk that she went to six colleges that had no admission requirements. Please debunk that just this week she referred to the Dept of Law in the White House when there is no Dept of Law. Please debunk she spent $200K on clothes. Please debunk that she insinuated the Obama was a terrorist during her campaign for VP. Please debunk that she quit her job midstream for the most facile of reasons."

I don't need to debunk any of those things, they are simply facts or events that can be viewed positively or negatively based on the choice of perspective. Even if I chose to view them in a negative light, which I don't, it would not justify the outrageous attack machine that has been unleashed on her since the presidential campaign, of which you are happily engaged.

Hey Ted, have you been following the MJ memorial service? I'm listening to what's being said about the guy, and it's amazing the words used to describe him, including:

- A visionary
- A entertainment genius
- A pioneer who broke down color barriers (as if there were no musicians of color before the Jackson 5)

The personna is being made out to be much, much bigger than the flawed man and likely pedophile that he really is. And yet, I still can't help humming some of his old hits like Thriller, Beat It, and Smooth Criminal.

By the way, neither mayor Antonio Villaraigosa nor the deputy mayor was around to manage the traffic and the crowds revolving around the memorial service at the Staples Center. Those guys are busy flying abroad on LA taxpayer money. Figures. The acting mayor right now is councilwoman Jan Perry, whom my wife and I interviewed in person a few months ago at the Little Tokyo (lack of) Cherry Blossom Festival. We never imagined we would be talking to a future (acting) mayor of LA.
