That's always been an issue.. Kurds got screwed by the British (a theme here) but Iranians are Kurd cousins... they do not want to live 'together' in that sense..

too many here look @ Arabs, Kurds, Iranians, Pashtuns etc and see one thing... but that's WRONG !...

You ever read "Paris 1919"? It was about the Paris Peace conference which basically drew the lines for countries which still exist today.

Iraq was basically cobbled together from three autonomous regions, and called "Iraq". Local experts warned there'd be internicene strife and it wouldn't work as a country for very long. Sort of like the former Yugoslavia.

And here we are.
