Doesn't that threaten Pelosi's personal investment in the Pickens plan? I understand she invest quite a bit. Is there a ticker for his business? I don't even know if it is public.

I know he also was attempting to corner water rights, but wouldn't the new "climate bill" crash that idea as well?

outside of the rest of the bullshit associated with the green effort. If you are going to do it, do it when the economy is robust and you aren't threatening to put many thousands of workers out of a job.

The United Mine Workers union may support Obama, but even the liberal miners that I have met do not. And they too are baffled by the union's support of him.

And though the article indicated it was the recession causing Pickens to pull back on his plans, it may simply be that it was a bad decision to start with.

Is this because these wind farms can't deliver? Is Pickens rethinking the whole concept of wind farms ----not just the money to build the wind farms?

Hopefully, Warren Buffet and his 'yes-droids' at MidAmerican Energy will catch on soon. Wind power is a joke vs. Biomass conversion if the FED isn't dolling out tax and miscellaneous back door gimme-credits like the old Oil Shale days.

Oil Shale hit the skids 5 minutes after the FED pulled its subsidizing support.
