Faris, yes that has occurred to me. They certainly could use a large infusion of cash. But I'm going to focus on your question: "...to pursue other ventures elsewhere?" Is this tongue and cheek? Faris, your position has clearly been that Kasakhstan is the place to be. This is the next great land of oil discoveries has been your cry. If you respond to this post that this is not the case I will confront you with a parade of your own comments that this is indeed your position. That they will make a JV on slice(s) of their concession to raise cash and continue to be in the revenue picture in Kasakhstan is the best situation. But pursue other ventures? Ventures outside of what you have been posting is an absolute lock in terms of abundant oil just waiting to hit the pipeline? Wooddy is waiting to see who his next employer is, ALREADY? Huh? While I certainly appreciate your opinion(s), this latest post of yours seems to be at odds with the position you've been developing. And what is wrong with a smaller JV that improves aipn's liquidity while allowing them to maintain a real presence in future revenues? Why is there this need for an immediate home run? This is not a case of me playing "Devil's Advocate." I'm questioning what appears to be--what may be--a substantial shift in your position. Greg

Faris, I apologize for inserting myself into the middle of this lively conversation. I have been following this thread for about 8 weeks, and have been in the game (long) since 5 1/2. Thanks to you, qdog, taxikid, deer hunter, Gregory, and many others, I have learned a lot ! thanks to all. But your latest post does seem to be a reversal, or at least a change in course. I am perfectly happy riding this horse down a long trail, but I am interested in knowing if the journey has changed? Thanks in advance hoosier bob

First off, it does occur to this long term investor, Faris. Secondly, what is the flow rate of any well on this lease? I'll grant you that I vigorously attack your fantasy of 600 mil, but if you step back a moment and realize that folks outside AIPN will drive a hard bargain in their own right, my conclusion is a reasonable speculation as is yours. You are hatching eggs that aren't even laid in some fantasy of other ventures. They still have to conclude this one Faris. Something they have had problems doing in the past.

FARIS It occurred to me and others I suspect, who have researched this company (though not as deeply as yourself) that a non-Kazak. venture would be in the future of AIPN. Without going back to the 10K I think Indonesia was mentioned(I could be wrong). But for me this was mere "...wonder what if" speculation. Your post was so "un-Faris" in tone and content that I would never have guessed that you posted it. The standard waver for Kazahkstan - Almaty "elite old boy network" - Aipn sitting on this golden concession- now going "leftfield" ??? This was a surprise!! I'm long this stock, and strongly added to my position today at 3.75 Still believe that this postion is of great value to AIPN. lmw
