My response was written to a post that indicated that roads that did not need repaving were being repaved just to spend the money.

Maybe you think that is a good use of our tax dollars, I don't. If they want to stimulate the economy and they are going to drive up the deficit anyway, why not, put enough into the public sector for unemployment, make sure people fed and put the rest into tax cuts which have worked in the past.
