Check out these.

My sister in law got in a bit of trouble last week. She shot four fox squirrels (the rodent equivalent of knapweed) in her back yard with an airgun.

One fell in to a neighbor's yard. He went over and picked it up.

"Thank you very much!" she says. "Saves me the trouble of climbing the fence."

"Do you have a problem with squirrels?" he says.

"Well, yes I do. These are an invasive species, they dig up my garden and they kill baby birds and eat bird eggs."

He replied. "We don't. We like them. We feed them."

"Oh shift," SIL thinks to herself.

A short time later the bell rings. SIL answers. "This is about the squirrels, isn't it?"

"Ma'am, I have to give you a warning. No projectiles may be launched in town."

My SIL is a deputy sheriff.
