You're correct that Biden has greater credentials than Palin, but no one ever asked that - they always suggested Palin was not qualified to be president - yet Obama had scant credentials and perhaps less than Palin.

Biden is like the verbal version of Gerald Ford with pratfalls and gaffs at every turn.

Dale - the superficial record as stated is impressive in text. Your post was illustrative.

One would expect someone who is as described to have some discipline at the mouth. Biden is a loose cannon. Wanna bet he is not VP for the second term campaign?

Also, I wonder how Hillary feels now. She went from being an influential senator to somewhere out of sight. Perhaps when her elbow heels she will return to prominence - I doubt it.

Dale - Biden is a foreign policy moron, on just about every major foreign policy decision of the past 25 years, he's been on the wrong side.

If it were up to Biden, Saddam Hussein would be sitting on a fortune of oil in Kuwait and probably be in control of Saudi Arabia today. He voted against authorizing the 1991 Gulf War — which the UN Security Council legitimized as an act of collective security against the illegal Iraqi conquest of Kuwait.

He said loud and clear over and over "Mark my words, the surge will fail".

During the debate with Governor Palin he said “When we kicked —along with France, we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, I said and Barack said, “Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don’t know — if you don’t, Hezbollah will control it.” Now what’s happened? Hezbollah is a legitimate part of the government in the country immediately to the north of Israel.”

He voted against the deployment of Pershing II missiles.

Opposed aid to the the Nicaraguan Contras.

What exactly makes this gaffe prone politician some kind of expert on foreign policy?

BTW, where is the link to that information? It looks like it came from his personal website or something.
