no, he didn't make it count. he would have been in the top 5 prez's of all time, if he had.

he brought down the nation, himself, and we've never had a presidency since, that wasn't tainted.

it could have been something else entirely. if jerry had with held the pardon, some good we'd see today. jerry wasn't forward thinking. he was a foot ball jock thinker. today's play. he couldn't comprehend, the last scrimmage would take place long long long after. jerry wasn't a kind moment in history to take the country forward. he was a band aid that never healed the infection unleashed. poor jerry wasn't smart enough to know that or see that. he too lost his greatest moment.

shame on nixon in the end. shame shame shame. and every karl rove and w and palin who come after his precedent. and that includes reagan above all. tv sweet talk and mindless pandering set the ultimate tone. the great communicator never said one damn thing that had any substance beyone a movie script........... which is to say. NONE.

ollie north is karl rove's daddy.

and i hope someday, as i always have, to have the opportunity to trip over myself while accidentally punching ollie north in the middle of his smirky little face.

we can dream.
