"They wanted (Panetta) to throw (the Bush CIA) under the bus," said a House source close who monitors intelligence matters. But there is no "Bush CIA"; aside from the top guys, it's still the same CIA as it was before. Panetta's job is to keep the CIA from waging the sort of leak-war against Obama that they waged against Bush. If he throws them under the bus for the sake of backing up Nancy Pelosi's lies, he will have no chance of doing his job.
