>>California is the Ghost of Federal Government Future.<<

Yep.

It may prove very timely to have it all unravel right now for all to see.

BTW, I turned on Rachel Maddow on MSNBC just to see what was being said. After some gloating over the Sanford and Ensign affairs, she said, as one who states an obvious conclusion, that the Republicans could no longer run on family values due to all the hypocrisy. Then she turned to her guest, NYT columnist Frank Rich, and asked, what could the Republicans possibly run on if they didn't have family values anymore? "Nihilistic populist rage against the elites" was his reply. He was perfectly serious. "It's a minority view," he said, "but they can play to their base. They have nothing else."

Gosh, I do so hope that a throw-the-bums-out-to-control-spending movement coalesces against the current one party rule in DC. It will catch the Democrats completely by surprise.

Well said. Almost poetic.
