From what I understand the Chrome uses a linux core.

It should be synergistic with OSX. And yes it's all about the apps and keeping all your data online so you can acesses it from any computer anytime without having to sync it.

If Adobe ports it's apps to Linux that would hurt Apple at this point I think. They may have to eventually.

Microsoft will never do that.

Apple won't do Logic or Final Cut and will retain the high end market that uses these apps.
