Hi Mick,

I'm a little surprised to see you come out of lurkdom. That is that little city in Irland isn't it. Here is a moldy oldy that you may enjoy.

exchange2000.com

This was my first post to the IPM thread. I posted it shortly before buying stock in the company but I was non-threatening, non-supportive and looking for information on the company.

IMPX was a vendor to Iomega and you know that when I sold out of IOM too soon I went into IMPX as a backdoor approach to the stock. IMPX turned out to be a hyped scam where insiders used the inflated stock price to sell every share they own. That did not mean that IOM was a scam due to their affiliation with the company. Basically what I am saying is that just because BXM, Delgratia and the other names that pop up were scams does not mean that IPM is guilty of the same thing. Of course it doesn't mean that they are innocent either but certainly you have noticed that right from the start that Charters came here to preach to us and not discuss relavent issues.

I would like to offer you the first line of an E-mail that a mining professional had once sent me that has no interest in IPM whatsoever. The rest I am afraid is confidential by request.

Dear Chuck:

Desert ores are a son of a gun and like most things in life approach is
everything!

regards,

Chuck

Mick: I don't think your comparison between Rock Doctor's post and Charters' posts is fair.

Rock Doc's post was interspersed with IMO's, meaning "in his opinion." Charters does not say it is his opinion that IPM is a scam, he just flat out says it is.

I am all for a two-sided discussion of the merits of a stock. I have pointed out the negatives of this stock many times over the last several months. But it is a far different thing to say, "in my opinion, when the verification report is released the stock is going to $20" than to say, "this company is a scam and it will be delisted" without any supporting evidence.

One is clearly an opinion (maybe hype, but an opinion). The other is clearly slander. I think most reasonable people see a big difference between the two.

Mr. Mick O'Neill:

I'm not going to argue with you - I'll give my reply, then you can have the last word ...

1) Sure, I posted a 'rumour' - I got it from a source who spoke directly to Doyle. I was honest about it all, and I passed this on to this thread, because that's what I think the thread is for.

2) Yes, I expressed an opinion - and I agree with you, we all have the right to do so, and you can take it or leave it (as we all do with Charters' opinions)

3) Now, if you want to compare me to Charters, then I WILL take offense. I don't post my opinion here 50 (FIFTY) times in one week. Nor do I have any other type of agenda (as Charters might have). Nor do I irrationally shout at the thread, "Good God people, buy this stock now before it's too late"

I wonder if this is how people express opinions in the business that you work in. There is a proper way to express opinions and debate matters - I fully agree that such discussion is desirable and necessary, but surely you don't think Charters' approach is acceptable ...

...(do you?)
