You forget, the buildings were not longer "air tight" after having been penetrated from the outside. And, your analogy of the lamp controlling the build up of hear is a poor one as I can also give you the analogy of a blast furnace. What happens when you put wind to a forest fire? Now, what happens to the fire in a building at 75 stories with wind carrying oxygen into the penetrated outer shell?
