300million years ago, when that coal was formed, Pennsylvania was a swamp near the equator. 11,000 years ago, the area was covered in ice.

Think about the global warming that plate tectonics can cause. I think it is time for the government to mandate the end of plate tectonics and continental drift.

BTW: I was in a coal mine in West Virginia just last week and picked up some nice tropical tree fossils.

I do believe that there is a godlike arrogance with the global warmers. They have no idea of the powers the earth has to offset our puny influences.
