More from the media Borking:

news.yahoo.com

A 19 year old high school dropout whose only claim to fame and credibility(?) is having impregnated Sarah Palin's daughter draws reporters to a news conference in which he speculates that she resigned for financial reasons. This was on Yahoo's U.S. news page.

How the hell is this news?

It isn't, but if it is acceptable to devote a third of a day's coverage to what should be legitimate news to Michael Jackson's star-studded funeral, perhaps the media thinks that they can fool us.

I think that the kid probably had his news conference for financial reasons. As long as he has people who listen to him like Larry King he won't have to deal with reality and get a real job.

The coverage of Palin is completely different than any other political figure. Making her into a tabloid figure is a method for discrediting her by any means possible. Can anyone imagine Geraldine Ferraro getting this kind of coverage after she was the VP candidate in '84?

Again I want to say that I am NOT a Sarah Palin supporter although I did go to a NASCAR race once. <g>
