We need proper transmission lines. And appropriate storage technology. People are working on both of them.

No.. you need COMPETITIVE COSTS that can make Wind more affordable vis-a-vis Natural Gas.

WSJ had an article just today discussing how NG was making Wind/Solar less competitive.

So you need higher prices and reduced supply of NG, or lower prices for Wind/Solar (and storage).

Also need more public acceptance. At some point in the not too distant future, solar panels and windmills will look beautiful to most people.

The only thing consumers think is beautiful are low energy bills. They really could care less about where it comes from.
