and just say hope he is allowed to come back to the thread after a brief interval. I do realize that any board of an explicit political nature is bound to cause heated discussions, but it's certainly possible to forcefully get ones point across without resorting to endless personal attacks. Attacking a poster's positions on issues is fine and dandy, but to keep repeating slurs on a person's character and motivations gets old in a hurry. MM is not the only one here who has gotten into the habit of doing that, but he has done it much more frequently than others. Hopefully, giving MM a short time out will put the brakes on this sort of thing. It's not that difficult to disagree without being disagreeable...
