Read it more closely. They didn't say growth "of" $32 billion, they said growth "to" $32 billion. In other words, they are not saying the growth will be $32 billion, they are saying the total amount of business will be $32 billion.

The figures given imply that the present level of business is $29.6 billion:

Old forecast: 29.6 x 1.15 = 34
New Forecast: 29.6 x 1.08 = 32

Alien, a little correction...

34B=115%, therefore 100x34/115=29.565B, the base
amount from which growth started.

So 8% growth would get us to 29.565x1.08=31.93Billion.
That's close enough to 32B.
