Coming to a US chapel near you? Woman marries her dog

I kid you not! In an actual ceremony. With an actual 'priest.' And guests. The whole ball of wax! Could such beastiality wedding be making its way over to the U.S? If the secular progressives have their way, there's no doubt. I have already written about how, since states like New Hampshire have passed gay marriage laws, polygamists are now trying to get in on the act. After all, if gay marriage is now legal, why limit it to two people? Threesome weddings coming down the pike? After that, why limit it to one species? That way, the people of PETA can marry the animals they love so dearly:

From Ananova via WND: Woman marries dog.

A Ghanaian woman has married her dog because it has qualities she had seen only in her late father.

Emily Mabou, 29, of Aburi, married the 18-month-old dog in a ceremony attended by a traditional priest and local, curious villagers
, reports the Daily Dose.

Her younger brother David Mabou said her family boycotted the wedding which they felt was "a stupid step to combat her loneliness".

Narrow-minded bigots!

But Ms Mabou said: "For so long, I've been praying for a life partner who will have all the qualities of my dad. My dad was kind, faithful, and loyal to my mum, and he never let her down.

"I've been in relationships with so many men here in Togo, and they are all the same - skirt-chasers and cheaters. My dog is kind, and loyal to me and he treats me with so much respect."

In the ceremony, the priest warned villagers not to mock the wedding, but to "rejoice with her as she has found happiness at last".

Asked how she intends to raise children with her new husband, Ms Mabou said simply: "We will adopt."

Thank goodness the article never got into the details of the wedding night.
You know, the way things are going, beastiality seems like an end game here. That's after Obama's nominee Sotomayor and one other codify gay marriage as a new Constitutional right out of whole cloth and force all 50 states to do the same. Next will be polygamy. Then beastiality. Every deviancy known to man will line up to fill its cup full of liberal understanding, tolerance and acceptance, and of course judicial fiat. Just wait until the NAMBLA types start coming out of the woodwork:
