Crossy, thanks for your view of Seg. I think the stock is way oversold now, and using forward PE is not the best way to analyze Seg vs its competitors. I don't think analysts hava a clue how much these companies will make in the future . Seagate is the largest and makes their own parts - competitors have to outsource. In that position they can control pricing which can hurt WDC,QTM's profits. Plus Seagate has a very profitable software division that should do a billion in revenue by 2000 - I have heard one analyst value this segment of the company alone at $15/share.

Blood is on the street with Seagate and selling has been irrational. This is the time to buy for long term investors.
