What can we realistically expect next week and in the near future?

I now we will have a conference call next week, can you, or anyone else, tell us what we could expect?

1 Earnings -- Last quarter's earning was somewhat less because of late shipments to be credited this quarter. Should we expect very good news as far as earnings are concerned?

2 Products -- My impression is that Ancor is trying to position itself as a dominant player in the high end FC market (primarily in switches), leaving the rest of the market (mid to low end) to the other players. Is this an accurate assumption? If so, is this a wise plan to follow? We may get much higher margins on our sales, but if a huge percentage of the market, e.g. 90%, is in the low to mid end adapters and hubs, won't we be missing out on most of the $$$ profits? Iÿguess what I am trying to understand is Ancor's business plan, how is it that they plan to make $$$. Which would help me to determine why/whether I should invest in ANCR vs Emulex/Adaptec/Broke-aid, etc. for the FC market.

3 Contract/Revenues -- Are we going to hear about additional sources of revenues anytime soon? So far the Japan/Hucom deal has been keepingÿAncor afloat, when are we going to hear about different customers?

Sorry, for asking a lot of questions here, just trying to be as well informed as I can about my Ancor investment?

Regards,

Edward

2. Re: DEC, I see Broke- Aid in DEC's future. As I mentioned before, OEM's who had an aggressive launch timetable to meet ( eg Sequent ) could not wait for Ancor's MKII/Optimized Class 2/3 to become available. DEC probably also falls into this category. BTW, this is strictly my own speculation ( DEC/Broke-Aid ) based on what I have recently heard in the Industry. I have no specific facts on this matter.

Nice call again Kerry. I hope you ae right about the forthcoming deals for Ancor as well.
