I totally agree.
Obama just checked his shoes, found them to be unpolished and decided to have that fixed next opportunity come.

Then I watched the whole video and I find it more likely that the snap shot is misleading. Obama didn't track the butt with his eyes and it is more likely he was just looking down to himself situated on the stairs.

Sarkozi on the other hand was definitely doing some double checks on that butt.


Exactly. This was just someone trying to take advantage of an awkward camera shot.

But they did it to Bush time, and time, and time again. So, once in a while, for Obama to get it -- that's fine.
